Designing and Preparing Folder Print Files

  1. In the folder design stage, to achieve sharp images, we recommend setting Raster Effect to 300 ppi in Illustrator, or resolution to 300 pixel/inch in Photoshop.
  2. Set colors to CMYK (a color setting for printing, different from RGB which is used for display on screens).
  3. We recommend designing with bleed by making the artwork larger than the actual size, adding at least 2 mm on each side.
  4. Avoid placing important text or images too close to the trim line; cutting and folding lines should be about 1 cm away from the edge.
