Flyer Artwork Guidelines

A5 Single-Sided Flyer – Bleed and Safe Area (leave 2 mm bleed on each side; keep critical text/images inside the safe zone to prevent trimming errors)

The bleed area should extend at least 2 mm beyond the final trim size.

Avoid placing important text or images in the area between the safe zone and the trim line to prevent trimming errors.


Flyer Design & Prepress Guidelines

  1. For crisp output, set Raster Effect to 300 ppi in Illustrator, or set Resolution to 300 pixels/inch in Photoshop.
  2. Set the color mode to CMYK (printing color system, different from RGB which is used for screens).
  3. Design with trimming in mind by adding at least 2 mm bleed on each side of the artwork.
  4. Keep important text and images away from the final trim, cut, and fold lines—leave at least a 1 cm margin from the edge.
