Trim line (final size)
Safe zone
The bleed area should extend at least 2 mm beyond the final trim size.
Avoid placing important text or images in the area between the safe zone and the trim line to prevent trimming errors.
Flyer Design & Prepress Guidelines
- For crisp output, set Raster Effect to 300 ppi in Illustrator, or set Resolution to 300 pixels/inch in Photoshop.
- Set the color mode to CMYK (printing color system, different from RGB which is used for screens).
- Design with trimming in mind by adding at least 2 mm bleed on each side of the artwork.
- Keep important text and images away from the final trim, cut, and fold lines—leave at least a 1 cm margin from the edge.
